On December 17th, 2009, Montessori students took to the streets of Milwaukee to raise awareness of clean air and the joy of eco-friendly travel. The group designed and built a 3-foot inhaler and talked with passers-by about their driving habits. Based on these conversations, the students distributed “prescriptions” with tips on how to save money and reduce your emissions through eco-driving and alternative modes of travel.
